2009 comes to an end.......

Where has this year gone?!?!?!

Now that were only a few hours away from 2009 being over, I can write a little about this year in a lump sum. Procrastinate is my middle name. :)

Januray-June........it'a all a blurrrrr :)

June-
As you all may already know, we purchased our first home in June 2009. YEAH!! We were super happy to finally not have to pay rent!! Theres nothing like putting money towards your future. We have been slowly updating little things through out the house. Just recently Brandon got done updating all the light switches to deccora. I updated the cabinets in the bathroom and am STILL looking at the kitchen and wondering when I'm going to get around to those. The next big project will be to paint......I'm getting tired of all these white walls! And also one day were going to update the light fixtures in both bathrooms, no more movie star bulbs.

November-

Brandon and his buddy Riley drew out for anterless Elk this year. They were stoked! We went up with some of the Peck family to there cabin up by the Strawberry Lake area. It was beautiful. We woke up early and rode the 4 wheelers for a couple hours up the mountain. We saw a lot of deer but not very many Elk. Mid morning we caught a break and Brandon's first shot dropped his first official Elk. Man, I never knew how BIG those animals really were! Unfortunatley I didn't get any pictures of him and his Elk until it was all chopped up and in our garage and I doubt anyone wants to see those but us. ;) We sure got a lot of good meat in our freezer from it. MUCH better tasting then deer, I must say. Way to go Brandon! So proud!!!

My sister Heather and her husband Wes got a great opportunity with his job to move to Arizona.
I took off a week from work to help them make the drive with there 3 kids, u-haul w/trailor, and truck attached with there van loaded to the max! :) The 8 hour drive only took us about 11 hours but we made it all in one peice. I will miss them like crazy but am very happy for them and know this will be a wonderful move for there family. Can't wait to meet baby (girl) Cobos #4 in May! I Love you guys!

December-

Found out what my sister Chelsea and her husband are having in April 2010. A baby girl!!!! Not sure if it is official but they have her named Noel...so far. We are very excited for this little one to come. We have been waiting a while for this special little girl and now Christian will have the sister he always wanted! Congratulations to Chelsea and James! We love you and still Pray for your family!

Brandon and I also had our 4 year Anniversary. I work graveyards and I happen to work the night of our anniversary but when I woke up I saw these beautiful flowers and chocolate covered oreos on my nightstand with a note from Brandon. He never says much when it comes to mooshy love stuff but I think he said exactly what he needed to in a great way! All it said was..... I love you.....A LOT!!! :) I like it that way. Speaks his mind and I understand every word! :)

Yes, we are still alive :)

So, thought I should put SOMETHING on here since my aunt gave me crap for not putting much on lately. :) I needed a little boost anyway. Some GREAT news actually we got last thursday. Brandon got a promotion at work. He was an Assistant Manager for his company and now is a Manager and has his own center to run! We couldn't be more happy. Well, he will be happy as soon as he doesn't have to work 13 hour days. I appreciate all his hard work he does. In the mean time, we have been camping/hunting/boating and doing things you should do when it's nice outside anyway. Here are some photos of some of our adventures with some family.
P.S. I have not forgotten about pictures of our house, I just have not had a chance to finish some projects so I will as soon as they are complete. :)

Clyde Creek Camping Trip

So this last weekend some friends of ours and us decided to take our tent trailer out and have some fun camping. We had some problems at first by getting the trailer stuck but its not a camping trip without adventures right? :) Thanks Krista for getting this great picture of our car and trailer stuck.
I got some cute pictures of our friends precious little girl Kennady taking Bella for a walk. She was just the right size and she loved it!

And we also went fishing at strawberry and ended up getting skunked but I captured this precious moment between Riley and his little girl for which I must say has him wrapped around his fingers TIGHT! I love it. And thanks for the fun and games Riley, Krista and Kennady.

We are buying a house!

Some good news going on in our lives right now is we finally got a house! No more, apartments, condos, etc. With months of looking, putting offers on homes, and having to wait because they happen to all be short sales, has finally paid off. Our date we will be able to move in is June 15th so hopefully by then we will get to have pictures up. I know Heavenly Father had a hand in helping us with this process and thank him for the patience and love he has given us. This will be out 6th, yes I said 6th move since we have been married the last 3 1/2 years. NO MORE MOVING after this for a while! :) And if we do it will be out of state......if I have anything to do with it. HA

3 years ago today......So glad I found you.....

3 years ago today we were married in the Salt Lake Temple. It was a beautiful COLD day. The sun was out but it was probably only 25 degrees.....and that was in the sun. :) It has been a challenging but a well worth it 3 years and am looking forward to spending the rest of our lives getting to know each other even more.

Food, Family and Fun

So for Thanksgiving this year we went to the in-laws home in the big old town of Fillmore Utah. Exageration on the "big" part of course. :) We had a lot of fun eating, shooting guns and bows and listening to screaming kids. Here are some pictures of out great Thanksgiving adventure. We didn't get a picture of the fire we had in the oven but it was quite funny to see Momma Apperson and Heather run around screaming not knowing what to do. Brandon having a cool head grabbed some baking soda and put out the fire quickly with now problems. Your everyones hero Brandon! :)

Halloween.......Good times!!!

So our friends have had a party the last 3 years and have had some fun type of bowling game. This year it was pumpkin bowling outside with 2 liter bottles as the pins. It was a blast!

I'm pretty sure there was a lack of action for some of the boys so they decided to throw the pumpkins in the air and try to hit the pins. They made more of a mess but had fun doing it and that is what it was all about!

We decided to be the Presidential candidates since that was quick and easy and pretty funny.Riley and Krista had made cute little "Super Peck" outfits too. Riley even showed me his poor hands after slaving over them all day! :) And Krista decided she didn't want me to see her face.......just kiddin! My favorite had to be our friend Franko's outfit because of his disturbing shirt that he found at savers.......make sure you read the whole shirt! Who thinks of these things?

We also had did bobbing for apples and it was cold outside and I didn't find out but the water in the tub didn't look very warm. Everyone got an apple except for Franco.......I guess he just didn't have a big enough mouth......or that Brandon wouldn't even give him a chance!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN and also Happy 30th birthday to my sister Heidi, we love you and know your watching over us! Keep up those beautiful sunsets! xoxo
